My first trip to Paris, Olivias' second, was truly amazing! Notre Dame is a beautiful cathedral and the Eiffel Tower was brilliant too. We managed to walk around the Louvre but we didn't have time to go in the lines were too long and we were only in Paris a day and a half. We got to the Arc de Triomphe and Champ de Elysee. Enjoy the photos!

Paris Observations:
1. There are very few lane markers and they drive a little crazy
2. English is apparently the universal language. We were eating dinner and a Spanish family came in who spoke little French. The waiter spoke French and little Spanish. When they struggled to communicate they both spoke English.
3. The later in the evening the less English is spoken out in the restaurants and cafes.
4. People are much friendlier, and even down right helpful, if you attempt to speak French, even it is bad, then if you just start out speaking English.
5. People really do dress well in Paris.
6. The food was very good, everywhere we went.
7. There are a lot of tall people in Paris.
8. It seemed like a lot of people smoked
9. Last but not least. To order tickets to the top of the Eiffel tower you do not say "Bonjour, duo ticket por la summit por favor." It is very close to correct but not quite.
