A short drive brings us to Falmouth. A small town with a large port. It has one of the deepest inlets in the UK. Also it has a very nice museum, The Maritime Museum. In one area you can go down under water about 10ft, depending on the tide, were you can see fish and prawns. You can then climb to the top of the 5 story tower to get a lovely view of Falmouth.
Our first proper train trip. We got up early on a Sunday, hopped a train and headed out.

Our first Christmas in the UK. We still don't have any furniture, save for the green plastic outdoor furniture that was left by the previous tenants. We started our Christmas eave with Truro's Live Nativity that progressed through the streets of Truro, stopping a different locations to perform short skits. You can see in the last picture our sparse flat and our paper crowns :)

The chough is a bird that only lived in Cornwall and went extinct more than a hundred years ago but has recently sprung back up. The second is of the Norway Inn. A pub that dates back to the early 1800s.
A small restaurant perched on the side of the rock cliff at Fistral beach. The view was awesome as usual and we were able to watch a family of kite and windsurfers play in the waves.
A restaurant that we went to after the Surfing Santas for lunch. The view was amazing and the food was good too.
