We head to a little village called Ponsanooth and the Cornwall Wildlife trust of Kennall Vale, http://www.cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk/nature_reserves/where_to_find_the_nature_reserves_1/Cornwall_Wildlife_Trust_Kennall_Vale_nature_reserve_Ponsanooth. An old dynamite factory that blew up in 1838. It is a beautiful hike with waterfalls and woodland with the occasional building in ruin, some of which you can see the burnt timbers still in place.
From there we headed to a small brewery that I just found, Dynamite Valley, https://www.facebook.com/dynamitevalley. A couple of good fellows just starting out, making beer that they like to drink. Right up my alley.
